Sarah Cottier Gallery was established in 1993 by Sarah Cottier and Ashley Barber and closed June 1, 2024. 

Over its thirty year history the gallery staged more than 360 exhibitions and had the pleasure of representing several generations of artists. Of the more than one hundred artists exhibited, several were represented for the full thirty years of the gallery’s life. Sarah Cottier Gallery operated in various locations throughout Sydney including Lennox St, Newtown; Elizabeth Street, Redfern; Neild Avenue, Paddington and finally Roylston Street, Paddington. The gallery was a regular exhibitor at major art fairs in Sydney, Melbourne, Basel, New York, Madrid and Cologne.
